Our Curriculum
At Montrose OSC we follow the the Flight Curriculum Framework set out by Alberta Early Learning and Care Curriculum to guide early learning and allow children to learn and experience in creative ways. We also follow the Alberta School Curriculum to ensure that our learning is developmentally appropriate and supports a strong sense of individuality. Through the curriculum, we foster the development of engaged thinkers, ethical citizens and entrepreneurial spirits.

Day in the Life
What to Expect
Our daily routines are designed to provide children a positive sense of self. We want children to be confident, responsible, independent and eager to learn in an interesting, intellectual and playful way.
Before and after school, children have the opportunity to either take part in scheduled activities like cooperative games, dramatic play, crafts, play outside, take part in science experiments, or simply enjoy the materials we have at the centre. They are free to read or do their homework as well.
Montrose OSC is open to provide care for your child/children in the morning as well as after school. We are open Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm. This includes early dismissal days, PD days, spring break and summer break.
We provide nutritional meals including breakfast and snack in accordance with Canada's Food Guide.
We provide safe and reliable transportation to and from nearby Elementary Schools.
